From the simplest Dead Hung System to sophisticated Computer Controlled Motorized Systems, the rigging experts at YES will help you design, install and maintain a system customized to meet your needs. We also provide service and upgrades to existing systems.
Dead Hung Rigging
Dead Hung rigging consists of battens or track that are permanently supported from a grid, or the overhead structure and are not designed to be easily lowered to the stage floor. YES installs dead hung systems using the highest quality materials. For design or installation of a new system, or service of an existing dead hung system, please contact the rigging experts at YES.
Counterweight Rigging Systems
Manual Counterweight Rigging is very easy-to-use and is a system that is based on creating a set of weights that is balanced. This allows a person to lower and raise virtually any size load with ease.
Complete rigging systems consist of one or more counterweight sets. Each is comprised of a pipe batten suspended from lifting cables which pass over loft block sheaves, then over the head block at one side of the stage and down to the counterweight arbor. This type of stage rigging is guaranteed to be sturdy and reliable. It is the number one choice for stage rigging from school auditoriums to community center auditoriums. For design and/or installation of a new system, or maintenance of an existing system please contact the rigging experts at YES.
Motorized systems do not require counterweights, so the systems are easier to operate. Computerized control systems provide an unmatched level of precision and repeatability for cues, making each performance more uniform, while still maintaining the overrides necessary for safety. Motorized systems are not only found in major opera houses, arenas, and studios, but even in high schools and colleges. YES installs only the highest quality motorized systems.
